17. How do I become a Reiyukai member?

    You have to be introduced to Reiyukai by an existing member. He or she will then become your “Oya”. Even though this literally parent, in the Reiyukai context it means ‘guide’. Your Oya then guides you through the Reiyukai experience.

17. Is there an age limit?

    Anybody from the age of thirteen can become a member of the Reiyukai.

17. What are the benefits of becoming a member?

    Reiyukai believes that the development of the self leads to the conquest of happiness. When we begin to see how our actions effect our environment and others we work at improving ourselves. Reiyukai helps us identify these opportunities.

17. Is it a religious sect?

    No! The Reiyukai India and the Adhyatmic Sahcharya Sanstha is not a religious sect. For more information about Reiyukai contact the office for information booklet.

17. Will I go to Japan?

    Often members are invited to Japan for Mirokusan and Shichimenzan training. .

17. What are the membership fees?

    There are membership fees. However there is a subscription charge to the magazine “We are One”. This is currently Rs. 36 per year..

17. What are the activities that we can do?

    Apart from spiritual activities for individual development we have gatherings, conferences, seminars and projects that that members organize for their communities. For more go to Activities.

17. After how long can I introduce members to Reiyukai?

    Whenever you want to.

17. Who can become a Reiyukai member?
